The purpose of fasting using our KOUSO Fermented Drinks is to empty the digestive tract to allow the organs related digestion to rest, by temporarily suspending food intake (except KOUSO Fermented Drinks, water or fluids).
Next, transition period after fasting is also important. When eating again, it sends a message that “fasting is finished” to the body. Gradually return to a normal eating routine. You would take the same number of days of fasting for the transition periods.
